The mainstream chains programme for mass appeal, and everything else falls through the cracks. But there are now more options than there have been in years. Filmhouse at Golden Mile Tower runs curated seasons of arthouse and international films across three screens. SFS Somerset at Cineleisure programmes up to eight films a month in their dedicated 66-seat hall. Classics at Capitol is bringing restored classics back to the big screen. And Strata Film Club is building the community layer that connects Singapore's cinephiles with the screenings that actually matter to them. The showtimes exist. They're just not where you'd expect to find them.
